So I have done a few weddings in my career but not many. My #FamilyFirst choice to be home most evenings and weekends with my kids meant that I wasn't available for such jobs. Now that they are older, I might consider adding a few weddings a year to my creative compulsions, documenting such a moment for people is such a privilege!

Last summer we were invited to a beautiful wedding in a place we had never been! We hopped in the big car, kids, dogs and camping gear and all and we drove 12 hours east to Prince Edward Island!
A memorable trip for sure!

I wasn't hired, really, I just happened to be there and kind of took over my friends' wedding day photography needs...? In this age of 'everyone has a camera', my friends relied on their wedding party to take some memorable shots but I couldn't let the bride and groom get away without more 'formal' family group shots and especially 'couple portraits' that I wanted to gift to them!!!

So we took the time and got some beautiful images of my dear friends!

The panoramic above is composed of 8 images carefully stitched together to create a great portrait of the wedding party exiting the church.

Oh and BUBBLES, bubbles everywhere! I even added a few in post to adjust the composition...

Posing groups of all sizes can be a challenge.
I always start by posing my groups and then I direct an organized decomposition of the pose...
Without fail, it gives us great moments to capture, especially when you add some grimaces!
